You can access the bios. Do a google search for EFI-Boot/BIOS, there's a bunch of them. Also, are you trying to install the same os in both the flash drive and on your hard drive? Then you can use the flash drive to install the OS. If you just want the OS on the flash drive, you can make a.iso and put it there.

Diphenyl ethers, naphthols and benzaldehydes are allyl ethers of alkyl- and alkenylphenols. These ethers have been prepared by reacting diphenyl ethers with the corresponding aldehydes as described in Kollar U.S. Pat. No. 2,739,971, Eskew et al U.S. Pat. No. 3,160,611, and O'Dell et al U.S. Pat. No. 4,231,965.
Other diphenyl ethers and phenols have been reacted with the corresponding benzaldehydes in the presence of strong base to form ethers as described in Kollar U.S. Pat. Nos. 2,739,971 and 3,161,601. The diphenyl ethers utilized as reactants have also been employed in the preparation of the allyl ethers as described in O'Dell U.S. Pat. No. 4,231,965.
